Job description
Join our Professional Services team in Germany and play a key role in helping our clients modernize their information landscape. As an Architect specializing in Content& Data Migration, you will lead complex migration initiatives utilizing OpenText Magellan Integration Center (MIC), OpenText Content Management, Documentum, Core Archive, and Core Content solutions. You will be responsible for leading successful migration projects from initial assessment and estimation through implementation, execution, and validation. Acting as a trusted advisor to our clients, you will combine technical expertise, consulting capabilities, and migration best practices to ensure high-quality outcomes and long-term client success.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Lead and design Enterprise content and data migration projects from assessment through successful Go-live.
- Conduct client workshops and translate business and technical requirements into effective migration approaches.
- Design and implement migration projects using OpenText Magellan Integration Center and similar migration tooling for ETL based migrations
- Define and execute mapping strategies for content, metadata, and data transformations between source and target platforms.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of migration methodologies, frameworks, accelerators, and delivery practices.
- Support sales in bid teams with your expertise and experience in the entire sales process to position complex migration projects
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent training with several years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise content and data migration projects
- Proven experience in scripting, automation, and migration development, with the ability to leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and optimize migration processes.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Good knowledge with OpenText Magellan Integration Center or similar ETL migration tools of advantage
- Good Knowledge around the OpenText product suite, with a focus on the OpenText Extended ECM and/or Documentum platform and their integrations of advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Fluent Language skills in English and German, both written and spoken, Dutch or French language skills are considered an additional asset
