DevOps Specialist

The work could involve partnering with engineering and operations teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker, and support the infrastructure that underpins modern application delivery. You could have scope to improve deployment efficiency and contribute to infrastructure standardisation across the organisation., * Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing

• Managing containerised environments using Kubernetes and Docker across cloud platforms
• Supporting infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements to enhance reliability
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and resolve technical challenges
• Documenting infrastructure configurations, runbooks and operational procedures
• Contributing to cloud infrastructure management across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and orchestration
• Working knowledge of containerisation technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows server environments
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Bash or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification, or equivalent demonstrated expertise

Nice-to-have experience could include:

• Master’s degree
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Knowledge of SAP infrastructure or enterprise application environments
• Exposure to API design and integration patterns
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
