Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows System Administrator to join our contract IT team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of hands-on experience managing Windows environments and a strong understanding of SQL databases. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our Windows-based infrastructure and supporting SQL systems that are critical to business operations. Qualifications: 5 7 years of experience in Windows system administration in mid to large-scale environments. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (installation, maintenance, scripting, performance tuning). Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation. Highe level of familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix). Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs). Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
