- Provide on-site best in class customer service to our internal teams and external partners
- Use CCTV to monitor that data center entry, exit , and DC floor points
- Monitor data center infrastructure using existing and custom-built tools
- Patrol the building every hour to check for any internal and external anomalies
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across multiple environments
- Escalate incidents appropriately and provide detailed documentation throughout the issue lifecycle
- Maintain ticketing system for internal and external issues that may arise
- Establish and maintain performance baselines and ensure systems are operating within expected thresholds
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for drafting technical incident reports, executive summaries, and operational directives.
- Collaborate with peers and engineering teams on projects, capacity planning, and root cause analysis
- Become well rounded in the information that is accessible to you regarding critical and emergency situations
Requirements
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining uptime and delivering exceptional support across customer environments.
The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with a solid foundation in IT and networking systems. As a key technical resource, you will help clients triage and resolve issues efficiently. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking and clear communication skills to ensure seamless coordination with internal teams and external partners via our ticketing system., * High School Diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus

- Strong critical thinking and problem solving approach
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the site
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Willingness to help out the team when in need (shift coverage)
- Willing and able to work weekends
Preferred Experience and Certifications:
- Experience: Experience in customer service, Data Center operations, critical facilities, or a high-availability technical infrastructure environment
- Systems Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, ticketing systems, CCTV systems, and basic networking/server hardware troubleshooting
- Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Network+/Security+, Cisco CCNA, or completed modules from recognized industry platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric Data Center Certified), * Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Data Center Operations/NOC: 1 year (Preferred)
Benefits & conditions
- Starting pay range $17.00/hr - $19.00/hr (depending on experience)
- Sick time accrued per pay period
- Holiday pay for any holidays that are worked
- Monthly Trainings to help give you more experience in a technical world
- 28 hours per week regularly with potential for additional hours
- Schedule: Wednesday 3pm-7pm, Thursday-Sunday 3pm-11pm
- During downtime, studying for technical certifications (such as CompTIA, Cisco, or modules via Schneider Online University) will be available and is highly encouraged
- Employee break room “grab and go” snack/drink selections,included during your shift
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
