Manager of IT Services

We are seeking a hands-on, mid-level Manager of IT Services to lead local technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor coordination for an enterprise manufacturing facility in Columbia, MD. In this role, you will serve as the primary internal technology leader on site, ensuring stable IT/OT operational continuity, managing Managed Service Provider (MSP) deliverables, and aligning business processes with technology initiatives. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, local operational leaders, and external technology partners to drive IT governance, infrastructure upgrades, and continuous service delivery improvements., * IT Service & Operations Delivery: Oversee local IT support services delivered in collaboration with external MSPs and technology partners. Manage SLA compliance, incident escalations, service performance metrics, and process improvements.

• Infrastructure & OT Leadership: Coordinate local IT/OT infrastructure initiatives including servers, cloud services, network operations, endpoints, ERP systems, and industrial/manufacturing technology environments.
• Vendor & Project Governance: Manage relationships with external vendors and technology service providers. Lead local IT/OT projects, including hardware/software lifecycle management, system deployments, and security upgrades.
• Cybersecurity & Continuity: Coordinate business continuity planning, disaster recovery, post-incident recovery, and local compliance or audit readiness activities.
• Business Alignment: Partner with cross-functional team leads to optimize operational workflows, support digital transformation efforts, and align technology roadmaps with core business objectives.

• Experience: 6 10 years of total experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, and enterprise systems, with 3 5 years in a lead, supervisory, or mid-level management capacity.
• Manufacturing / OT Exposure: Experience working within an industrial, manufacturing, or operational technology (OT) facility environment preferred.
• Vendor Management: Proven experience managing third-party vendors, MSP contracts, SLAs, and cross-functional technology projects.
• Technical Breadth: Strong foundational knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, active networking, server administration, ERP platforms, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Location & Presence: Ability to work 100% onsite at the facility in Columbia, MD.
