Experteer Overview In this role you will serve as a Sr. Principal Network Engineer contributing to Northrop Grumman’s digital transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, install, and maintain high-performance networks for national defense programs. You will tackle complex, multi-vendor networking challenges and help ensure secure, scalable, and reliable systems. This is a mission-driven opportunity to impact warfighter capabilities while advancing modern engineering practices. Compensation / Benefits * Consult as an expert in cutting-edge information technologies and methodologies * Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance * Ensure compliance with cyber requirements including antivirus, logging, and network services * Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability * Solve complex problems across Agile, Networking, and Software environments * Travel for system installations, test support, and customer demos Tasks * Bachelor in science, engineering, or related discipline; or Master in related field; or STEM PhD * 8+ years of experience or 6+ years with Master or 4+ years with STEM PhD * Experience with multi-vendor Segment Routing (SR-MPLS or SRv6) with automated traffic engineering and QoS * Experience operating Cisco SDWAN and Juniper Session Smart Router fabrics including conductor failover * Knowledge of high-performance fabrics (InfiniBand and RoCE/RDMA) for AI/ML cluster networking * Ability to construct and operate digital twin networks for pre-deployment validation and resilience testing * Experience building and operating STIG automation including drift detection, reporting, and mitigation tooling * US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance Key requirements * relocation assistance * annual bonuses * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * paid time off (PTO) and holidays
