Job description

  • Senior/Lead Backend Engineer is responsible for leading a team of offshore engineers (DEV and QA) and being available during most Onshore EST timings., * Becoming the bridge between dev team and business team
  • Debug issues that arise during onshore time
  • Converting legacy applications into micro-services hosted in AWS.
  • Leading the dev team by writing quality code, reviewing pull requests, and setting coding standards.
  • Strong Database skills in MYSQL
  • Experience working in AWS architecture

Requirements

  • Role includes becoming a bridge between the dev team and the onshore business team. Role includes hands-on development (programming) on all backend technologies. Good knowledge of Java, Spring and SpringBoot, MySQL and AWS architecture., * Java/MySQL, Spring, SpringBoot and AWS skills
  • Minimum of 6 years’’ experience in programming
  • Served as dev lead at least for a year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Docker and Azure DevOps knowledge
