Job description

  • Assembling enterprise IT equipment at component level - RAM, CPU, RAID configuration etc.
  • Continuously quality check picked components and own work
  • Handle parts safely following ESD procedures
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Work closely with team members to achieve co-ordinated production targets
  • Maintain a structured, tidy, safe, and clean work environment
  • Be flexible to assist in other departments
  • Handling IT equipment (up to 25kg) and working on your feet for extended periods

Requirements

Your role will involve working on a fast-paced assembly line assembling refurbished major brand servers, workstations, laptops, and desktop computers.

You will have a keen interest in IT hardware and components, an excellent team ethic and a can-do approach. At 1st Technologies, there is no such thing as a quiet day and with last-minute orders to fulfil you will need to work quickly, precisely without compromising on quality.

You will need to be dexterous and have experience using hand and power tools.

Experience and knowledge of specific IT hardware installation at board level will be advantageous., * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge and genuine interest in electronics / IT hardware (Servers, Workstations etc.) and associate components
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management
  • A team player, willing to show initiative and go the extra mile
  • A positive attitude
  • Previous work experience on a fast-paced assembly line, * GCSE or equivalent (required)
