Educational IT Technical Support

Saint Mary Catholic School is hiring for a full-time (up to 40 hours) IT Technical Support position. Benefits are available to 30 hour + employees. We are a Pre-K-8 Catholic school in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

The right candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge of computer, printer, and projector hardware

• Knowledge of windows, Google, and associated software

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Installation, maintenance, and replacement of:

o School owned computer systems

o Projectors

o Intereactive whiteboards

o iPads

o printers

o Mimio devices

o 3D printers

• Replacement of projector bulbs, projector fan filter cleaning, projector unit replacement.

PC hardware diagnostics, including locating and replacing failed components

Windows installation and repair, training and supporting school staff when necessary.

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or experience equivalent

• Proven experience in technical support and software troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of computer networking and IT support
• Experience with desktop support, VPN, and firewall configurations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Certifications in relevant IT areas are a plus
