Job description
Receive, unpack, and process incoming IT equipment and shipments in accordance with established company procedures.
- Prepare, package, and distribute outgoing equipment shipments to internal and external customers.
- Assist with maintaining stock levels of PCs and accessories based on established minimum/maximum thresholds.
- Assist with asset tagging and data entry into inventory and asset management systems.
- Support the loading and updating of asset data within company tracking tools.
- Process returned equipment, including basic inspection, staging, and restocking of usable inventory in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with the pickup and handling of recycled or decommissioned equipment.
- Assist with warranty returns and replacement processing for faulty equipment.
- Order and maintain supplies (e.g., boxes, packing materials, and asset tags).
- Follow established processes to ensure accuracy of inventory records and reporting.
- Provide timely, responsive customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Operate a forklift from time to time for a minimum of 15 hours a week.
- Perform other administrative and warehouse support duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- OSHA forklift certification required.
- Basic familiarity with inventory tools and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience working in an IT asset management or warehouse environment.
- Exposure to tools such as Lansweeper, Coupa, or Cherwell.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to sit for up to 40% of the workday.
- Frequent use of computer, phone, and standard office and/or warehouse equipment.
- Must have the ability to work on-site 5 days per week at our Eagan, MN location.
