An international law firm is seeking an experienced FinTech lawyer to join its Knowledge Management function in a highly strategic, client-facing position. The role combines legal expertise, regulatory horizon scanning, thought leadership, policy engagement, and AI-driven innovation, helping shape both the practice’s market position and future operating model., A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Knowledge Management Lawyer to support its FinTech practice. This role sits at the intersection of legal knowledge, regulatory developments, client engagement, and innovation, with a particular focus on delivering market insight and helping embed AI tools and technology across the practice., Knowledge & Thought Leadership
- Work directly with lawyers and clients to identify knowledge needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Produce client alerts, legal updates, briefings, and thought leadership materials.
- Develop and maintain high-quality knowledge resources for the practice.
Regulatory & Market Intelligence
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and market developments affecting the FinTech sector.
- Translate complex developments into commercially relevant and actionable guidance.
- Participate in external industry forums and maintain awareness of emerging trends.
Policy & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with industry associations, regulators, and policy bodies.
- Review and draft responses to consultations and policy initiatives.
- Help shape the firm’s engagement strategy on key regulatory issues.
Innovation & AI Strategy
- Drive the adoption of AI and legal technology tools within the FinTech practice.
- Collaborate with innovation, knowledge, and technology teams to enhance legal workflows.
- Support the transformation of the practice into an AI-enabled, future-focused team.
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years’ PQE gained within a leading FinTech practice.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex legal and regulatory concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Demonstrable interest in innovation, legal technology, and AI.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing complex initiatives independently.
