SAP Systems Architect

• Designing SAP solution architectures that align with business strategy and technical governance standards
• Defining integration strategies across SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE), APIs and microservices
• Guiding the technical approach to system implementations, data migrations and modernisation programmes
• Collaborating with infrastructure teams on Azure, AWS or on-premise deployments, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Supporting data pipeline design, data quality frameworks and analytics integration (Power BI)
• Coordinating with governance, security and compliance stakeholders on SAP-specific risk and standards
• Mentoring technical teams on architectural best practices and emerging SAP technologies, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:

• 5+ years’ experience in SAP architecture, systems design or enterprise integration roles
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP RISE, with hands-on exposure to at least two SAP implementation methodologies
• Proven experience designing integration solutions using APIs, microservices and message-oriented architectures
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and modern deployment practices (CI/CD, containerisation, Terraform)
• Strong understanding of enterprise data management, data pipelines and data quality frameworks
• Experience with infrastructure concepts (Linux, Windows, DMZ, F5 load balancing) and security best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-have

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration programme leadership
• Experience with BPMN or UML for process and system modelling
• Exposure to CSDR, QMS or other regulatory compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with additional programming languages or frameworks (Java, Spring Boot, .NET, ASP.NET, React, Python, Bash)
