Job description
From initial training needs assessments to developing and delivering training, youâll be equipping organizations with the training knowledge, resources, and support to successfully deploy Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
As a Workday HCM Training Consultant, your project assignments and development activities may include:
- Working with technical specialists and subject matter experts to:
- Analyze needs and identify preliminary options for course design.
- Develop objectives and design specifications, such as: target audience; participant prerequisites; key performance and learning objectives; length and configuration of training; trainer requirements; delivery methodologies (e.g., trainer-led, online); instruction techniques and material types; course completion requirements, and course structure.
- Structure content and activities for the intended audience(s).
- Assess curriculums, modify, and engage stakeholders to make improvements to ensure objectives are met.

Apply appropriate evaluation methodology to assess learner performance and skills retention after course completion recommend course changes as required.
- Supporting the development of training strategies and materials.
- Developing documents that support the implementation of Workday HCM.
Requirements
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD âTOP SECRET/SCIâ with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE âTOP SECRETâ or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Bachelorâs degree
- FIVE (5) or more years of experience developing and delivering training utilizing various modalities.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Proficiency in using instructional design methods and development tools (i.e., Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, or similar software).
- Prior Workday experience as subject matter expert and/or consultant.
- Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with internal team, clients, and other partners.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP implementations like Workday, SAP, Oracle, UKG, or similar applications.
- Experience working in Federal Government HCM environments with an understanding of the issues facing agencies today.
- Experience working with Department of War and/or Intelligence Community customers.

- Health savings account, The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
