Job description

This role involves supporting the Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM) project, focusing on the integration between upstream and downstream systems. The candidate will be involved in both software development and technical support, ensuring seamless operations and addressing production issues as they arise.

Software Developer Java/Python, Capital Markets - Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain large-scale applications with Java and/or Python
  • Support production issues and deployment processes
  • Build back-end systems and contribute to UI development
  • Work with messaging and monitoring systems
  • Collaborate closely with IT senior manager and other developers
  • Interact with the business team to gather requirements

Requirements

Software Developer Java/Python, Capital Markets - Mandatory Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience with Java and/or Python
  • 4+ years of experience with data technologies and databases
  • 2+ years of experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React, and JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes
  • 3+ years of experience with test automation

Software Developer Java/Python, Capital Markets - Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Previous experience in mortgage capital markets
  • Experience with job scheduling and orchestration tools
  • Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring tools
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
