Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Technician supporting retrofit orders, you play a critical role in ensuring assemblies meet quality, functional, and customer requirements before shipment. Your work helps prevent quality escapes by validating mechanical components, testing system functionality, and identifying issues at the source. Your attention to detail and commitment to first-time quality directly impact customer satisfaction and product performance., * Inspect retrofit assemblies to ensure compliance with quality, functional, and customer requirements

• Validate builds against engineering drawings, specifications, and system requirements
• Perform functional testing of conveyor assemblies and related equipment to verify performance
• Review and validate PLC logic to support troubleshooting and proper automated system operation
• Identify, contain, and resolve quality concerns before product shipment
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and suppliers to investigate discrepancies and drive corrective actions
• Support root cause and point-of-cause problem-solving efforts to prevent recurring defects
• Document inspections, testing results, and non-conforming conditions accurately
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on first-time quality and waste reduction
• Maintain ethical behavior and integrity in all job responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Do you have experience in Troubleshooting electrical systems?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to quality and defect prevention

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Working knowledge of PLC logic, including troubleshooting and basic diagnostics
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, conveyors, or stretch wrapping equipment
• Ability to perform functional testing and validate equipment performance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

Desired Experience

• Experience with root cause and point-of-cause problem solving
• Experience with retrofit, custom-built, or automated systems
• Familiarity with conveyor systems and automated equipment testing
• Quality auditing and/or inspection experience
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing teams
• Experience with ERP systems (Winman or similar), * High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical training or an associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
• PLC training or relevant hands-on experience is a plus
