Job description

We are hiring an experienced Linux System Administrator to support enterprise Red Hat Linux infrastructure in a mission-critical environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong L3 support experience, Red Hat clustering expertise, Ansible automation skills, and exposure to AWS cloud environments., * Provide L3 support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.

  • Troubleshoot complex Linux OS, storage, networking, and application issues.
  • Manage and maintain Red Hat Cluster environments for high availability.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
  • Automate system administration tasks using Ansible.
  • Apply system hardening, patching, upgrades, and security best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and support capacity planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, storage, and security teams.
  • Support Linux workloads hosted in AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM).
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for production support.
  • Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of Linux System Administration experience.
  • Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience providing L3-level production support.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Red Hat Clustering.
  • Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking, and storage environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM).
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance practices.

Benefits & conditions

$26 - $28 an hour - Full-time, Contract
