Job description
They are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their growing engineering team and help drive product reliability across new and existing product lines. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with hands-on reliability engineering experience who wants to continue building their technical expertise while supporting products from development through production.
Working alongside Product Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality, you’ll play a key role in reliability testing, failure analysis, validation, and continuous product improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and execute reliability testing for new and existing products
- Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations on field and laboratory issues
- Develop and support reliability validation plans throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in FMEA activities and recommend corrective actions
- Analyze test data to improve product reliability and performance
- Partner with Product Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality throughout development
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product durability and reliability
- Document findings and communicate recommendations across engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 2+ years of Reliability Engineering experience
- Experience with:
- Reliability testing
- Reliability validation
- Failure analysis
- Root cause analysis
- FMEA
- Reliability test planning
- Experience supporting products throughout the product development lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience with electromechanical products
- Exposure to accelerated life or environmental testing
- Familiarity with reliability engineering methodologies
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) is a plus
