IT Technician

Certsys, LLC. is seeking an IT Technician Tier 1 or Tier 2 with strong analytical skills to quickly and accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues for a wide variety of clients within the Tri-State area. The successful candidate will be able to provide network, workstation, server support and configuration via on-site, in-shop, and remotely. The successful candidate will also create quotes for customers for new and replacement hardware and software. We are seeking a professional that is self-motivated and desiring to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve time-sensitive technical issues with workstations, mobile devices, printers, servers, and networks; setup and configure new devices; run and install network cables and devices; work well within a team, as well as independently; provide superior customer service to all clients; and have excellent verbal and written communication.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of experience in Information Technology

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 Operating Systems

Familiarity with Active Directory

Familiarity with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025

Able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Maintain a valid driver’s license

Maintain reliable transportation

Able to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology

Familiarity with Group Policy

Familiarity with DHCP and DNS

Familiarity with the following devices: Sophos Security Appliances, Unifi Switches and Access Points, and SonicWALL TZ series

Familiarity with NinjaOne and ConnectWise Manage

Certifications: A+, Security+, Net+, MCP, MCSE, * High school or equivalent (Preferred)
