Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to maintain, support, and optimize our network infrastructure. This role is responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, security, performance monitoring, and providing technical support to ensure reliable business operations., * Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless networks.

  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange, and related technologies.
  • Support network security through access controls, monitoring, and policy enforcement.
  • Install and maintain network hardware and structured cabling.
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve network-related issues.
  • Coordinate network upgrades, system enhancements, and vendor support.
  • Maintain network documentation and assist with IT projects.
  • Mentor junior IT staff and participate in after-hours maintenance as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of network administration experience.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, routing, switching, and network security.
  • Experience with structured cabling and general hardware support preferred.
  • Knowledge of RMF, ISSO, or ISSM practices is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with ITAR-controlled information, when applicable.
