Job description
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a NOC shift Med Tech working Friday through Monday from 10PM-630AM. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a senior living or healthcare facility. Your expertise will ensure residents receive personalized assistance with daily activities, medication management, and health monitoring, all while maintaining strict adherence to healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. This position offers an energetic environment where your caregiving skills make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents., * Assist residents with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support in accordance with care plans as needed.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track residents’ health status.
- Document medical information meticulously using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
- Respond promptly to resident needs, providing compassionate care during emergencies or routine activities while adhering to safety protocols like manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care plans within state healthcare regulations and senior living facility guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior/dementia/memory care practices.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation.
- Certified in First Aid and CPR; additional certifications like hospice care or Alzheimer’s/dementia training are a plus.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently while managing heavy lifting when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills for caregiver interactions and resident personal care assistance.
- Knowledge of state Board of Nursing requirements and adherence to HIPAA regulations for maintaining patient confidentiality.
