Senior Backend Developer (AWS)

Clearance (for all positions): Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. (Preference given to active (or recent) ICE or CBP clearance). Must be a US Citizen. Preference will be given to resources who meet all requirements and have an active (or recently terminated) ICE or CBP clearance., Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a development environment with React

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a development environment with Node JS

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a development environment with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Eventbridge, Kinesis)

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with AWS Cloud Tools

Minimum of 1 year of experience in writing SQL and working with relational database structures

• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them
• Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution
• Aptitude for picking up technology quickly along with a desire to learn and progress
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
• Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges, and enjoys working team collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with the SPA concept and libraries (preferred)
• Experience with agile and DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Cloudbees, React Testing Library, Jest (preferred)
• Experience with relational database structures, and Dynamo DB (highly preferred), * Bachelor’s (Required), * React: 5 years (Required)
• Node.js: 5 years (Required)
• AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Eventbridge, Kinesis: 3 years (Required)
• SQL and relational database structures: 1 year (Required)
