Job description

Every cabinet order that reaches our shop floor passes through this seat first. You are the person who proves an order is correct before anyone cuts a piece of wood - comparing what the dealer ordered against what the drawings actually show, resolving every question, and handing our engineering team an order with nothing left to interpretation.

If you have worked in cabinetry, millwork, or building products and you are the person who catches what everyone else missed, this is your seat.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Review incoming dealer orders line by line against client drawings - sizes, configurations, finishes, hardware, and modifications

· Catch mismatches, missing dimensions, and anything ambiguous; get answers from the dealer before the order is finalized

· Enter approved corrections in our order system and document every question and answer where the whole team can see it

· Send the finished order to the client for signature and hand a clean, locked order to Engineering

· Build quotes for custom and complex jobs, pricing them accurately with support from Engineering and our vendors

· Serve as the main point of contact for dealers throughout the order review process

· Keep job files, revisions, and job status current and accurate

Requirements

· Experience in cabinetry, millwork, casework, or a related building-products trade

· Ability to read and interpret kitchen and bath drawings

· Detail-driven - you would rather ask one more question than let something slip through

· Clear, professional communication with dealers and clients, in writing and by phone

· Comfortable working in order entry, quoting, and job-tracking software

NICE TO HAVE

· Cabinet Vision or similar cabinet design/engineering software experience

· Estimating or quoting experience in cabinetry or millwork

· Experience working with a dealer network

· Familiarity with Fishbowl, Cabentry, or comparable order and inventory systems

We use Cabentry, Cabinet Vision, Cabinet Maestro, Fishbowl, and Miro. We will train the right person on our systems - we cannot train judgment and attention to detail., * Cabinetry Ordering/Engineering: 2 years (Required)
