Software Product Owner

Experteer Overview In this role you will serve as the Integrated Defense Design Product Owner within the IFMC Project Office, guiding software development priorities for a Force Operations team. You will translate system designs into actionable requirements, define acceptance criteria, and verify delivered code. You will brief leadership, assess risks, and help integrate capabilities across software builds. This position supports the DoD mission by aligning software progress with program priorities and sprint goals. Compensation / Benefits * Prioritize software capabilities and defects in coordination with Program Management for PIs and sprints * Review and interpret engineering designs and algorithms to provide technical direction to the development team * Define acceptance criteria for software updates and perform final verification of delivered code * Deliver technical briefings and demonstrations to leadership with COAs and impact analysis * Assist with driving integration of capabilities into various software builds * Act as the bridge between developers and leadership and report on status, risks, and recommended actions Tasks * Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics * Ability to work onsite up to 5 days per week * Minimum 7 years combined Government/DoD experience * Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset * Active Secret clearance and ability to maintain it Key requirements * competitive compensation * industry-leading 401k contribution
