Job description

  • Install, configure, and maintain surveillance video camera systems across company facilities to protect assets, personnel, and inventory.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine camera placement, cable routing, power needs, and installation requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve surveillance system issues, including wiring, connectivity, and camera malfunctions, promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide Level 1 helpdesk support to internal team members by troubleshooting hardware, software, account, and network connectivity issues.
  • Work with facility managers, security personnel, and IT staff to implement security procedures, meet regulatory requirements, and address security concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in surveillance technology, electrical systems, or low-voltage cabling preferred.
  • Experience installing surveillance video cameras, with knowledge of camera types, mounting methods, and cable installation practices.
  • Strong electrical technician skills, including safe use of power tools, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS, with the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
