Job description
Insight Global is looking for a Network Monitoring Analyst to be located in the Colorado Springs area. The selected candidate will be part of a team that reports to the program’s Watch Officer and performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of the program network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. The candidate will provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local network hardware and software. The candidate will document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test & real world events. The candidate will also assist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO. Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (4+ years in lieu of degree)
4+ years of professional experience
IAT level II certification or higher
Experience communicating with DISA (creating reports)
Good understanding of network concepts such as: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management and monitoring
Troubleshooting experience with routers, switches, crypto devices, taclanes
Familiar with all OSI layers
Must be able to support panama shift schedule
