Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead Ford Racing Off-Road Motorsports programs, driving cycle plans from concept to race-ready execution. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to build and validate race vehicles for Ultra 4 and Rebelle Rally, while overseeing suppliers and trackside operations. You’ll apply data-driven insights to improve speed, durability, and reliability, and you’ll transfer racing tech to future production programs. This position combines hands-on engineering with program leadership in a fast-paced motorsport environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead Off-Road Motorsports programs for Ultra 4 and Rebelle Rally, defining structure, timelines, and deliverables to ensure race-ready vehicles on schedule * Oversee vehicle builds by external vendors, coordinate with internal Ford Racing teams, and manage parts, CAD support, and genuine Ford components * Plan and execute vehicle testing, establish success criteria, and resolve issues through data analysis, remote and on-site support * Provide trackside support during events with telemetry analysis, pre/post-event troubleshooting, and safety focus * Drive continuous improvement through post-race analyses and collaboration with factory partners to boost speed and durability * Coordinate technology transfer with production engineering to apply race learnings to future vehicles * Lead feasibility studies and technology development plans for the next generation of Ford Racing off-road endeavors * Manage external suppliers, resolve conflicts, and align cross-functional teams toward common goals Tasks * 3+ years of automotive industry experience * Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines (powertrain, chassis, electrical, manufacturing, quality) on a single program * End-to-end understanding of how a vehicle is built and how subsystems interact * Experience in data acquisition and interpretation (telemetry, test logs, simulations) to diagnose issues * Proven passion for excellence and off-road racing, vehicle dynamics, and performance engineering * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field * Strong hands-on problem-solving and ability to interface with suppliers Key requirements * Immediate medical, dental, vision coverage * Flexible family care days and parental leave * Vehicle discount program for employees and family * Tuition assistance * Paid time off plus holidays * Employee resource groups
