VMware NSX | Networking and Security Virtualization Systems Engineer

This career requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least 16 years of overall IT experience.

It also requires:

• Ability to install and configure vCenter server
• Experience with ESXi cluster servers
• Strong technical knowledge of VMWare products: vSphere, vCenter, &/or Aria Suite
• Experience implementing NSX, SRM &/or vSAN in DR or failover operational environments
• 3 years experience in infrastructure architecture and design complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning.
• Experience monitoring the health of VMs operating in various data centers

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Masters in programming, computer science, or related field

• Understanding of network & storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
• Experience virtualizing enterprise applications
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with VMWare 7
• Strong networking expertise
• Experience with cloud migration
• Experience with (automation/operations) integration across IT infrastructure

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
