Job description

Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai’i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai’i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our EMR Inpatient team is responsible for support and maintenance of electronic medical records for inpatient hospitals.

As the Manager, Revenue Cycle - Business Systems, you are responsible for carrying out overall Project Management and Operations responsibilities relating to the design, selection, installation, and outgoing support of all Clinical Systems applications. In this role, you will oversee activities of assigned analysts, programmers, and trainers and interact with constituencies as issues, concerns, and accomplishments arise. As the Manager, you will strive to improve use of technology for improved patient care, clinician efficiency and reduced operating costs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Clinical degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or related work experience. Valid driver’s license and current Hawaii auto insurance. Ten (10) years’ experience in Hospital and Clinical Information Systems and process redesign/change in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications: Large system project-management experience in healthcare.
