MS Teams Collaboration SME

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Collaboration Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams Phone, and collaboration technologies. This role will serve as the technical lead for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise collaboration solutions that enhance communication, meeting experiences, and workplace productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice, Teams Rooms deployment, management, migration/implementation, conferencing technologies, and integration with enterprise telephony environments., * Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Teams collaboration, Teams Rooms, and Teams Phone solutions.

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms deployments across conference rooms, training spaces, and executive meeting environments.
• Configure and manage Teams Phone, Calling Plans, Direct Routing, and Operator Connect solutions.
• Lead migration initiatives from legacy telephony and conferencing platforms to Microsoft Teams.
• Deploy and support certified Teams Rooms hardware from vendors such as Logitech, Poly, Crestron, Lenovo, Cisco, Neat, and Yealink.
• Design and implement audio/video conferencing solutions and room standards.
• Troubleshoot complex voice, conferencing, networking, and collaboration issues.
• Monitor system performance, service health, capacity, and user adoption metrics.
• Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and workplace technology teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to support and engineering teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand collaboration requirements and recommend best practices.
• Stay current on Microsoft 365 roadmap items and emerging collaboration technologies.

Looking for someone focused in MICROSOFT TEAMS - A SME…NOT SOMEONE WHO HAS A BACKGROUND IN ALL MICROSOFT SYSTEMS, * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Microsoft collaboration platforms.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice and Teams Rooms.

• Strong understanding of:

• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Teams Phone
• Teams Rooms

• Experience with:

• SIP telephony environments
• Voice migrations and telephony modernization
• Experience managing Teams Room devices and room-based AV technologies.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, QoS, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
