Data Network Infrastructure Technician (On-site/Field)

The Field Support Foreman establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment., * Capable of reading customer orders, plans, manuals, blue prints and technical specifications in order to install network and communication cables.

• Installation and terminating communications cables in accordance with industry standards including; category 5E, 6, 6A, RG6, paging speakers and fiber. Installing telecommunications equipment, switches, wireless access points and cable trays.
• Certify service by testing circuits and equipment; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
• Document network by labeling and routing equipment and cables according to industry standards. Record configuration diagrams and specifications.
• Maintains network by troubleshooting and repairing outages; testing network back-up procedures; updating documentation.
• Maintain safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• This is a full-time position that requires field and on-site work.
• The position will be based at BCS365 Headquarters in Rockland, MA.
• Reliable mode of transportation required. Valid driver’s license required.
• The schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. *Start/end times may vary due to client needs.

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be capable of identifying full range of colors. No color blindness
• Punctual
• Capable of working in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications and data networks
• A valid electrician’s license preferred, and an “S” designation indicating a specialization in certain systems.
