Technical Project Manager- Enterprise application ServiceNow

The Role: Lead the implementation of ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower (AICT) module for Loudoun County’s Dept. of Information Technology. Serve as the primary liaison between ServiceNow Expert Services, County IT teams, and stakeholders, driving a 20-week implementation from kickoff through go-live.

What You’ll Do

Project Governance & Vendor Management

• Serve as a primary County point of contact for the ServiceNow Expert Services team
• Own project schedules across all NowCreate phases (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Deliver, Close)
• Coordinate workshops, sprint reviews, and status meetings across internal teams
• Track SOW deliverables, resource lead times, and vendor milestone sign-offs

Technical Coordination & Readiness

• Facilitate data readiness, validating CSV/Excel data quality from source systems (Microsoft, AWS) prior to import
• Support configuration alignment, access controls, and sub-production testing with System Administrators and Platform Architects
• Track vendor roadmap items and product dependencies against the project baseline
• Coordinate security, risk, and governance reviews with cyber/compliance teams

Testing, Training & Operational Readiness

• Manage UAT cycles - test case definition, defect tracking, and sign-off
• Ensure County staff complete required ServiceNow University training
• Coordinate vendor-led workshops and demos for knowledge transfer to County admins/SMEs

• 5+ years managing enterprise software implementations (ITSM, Governance, or AI/ML), public sector experience preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• Hands-on experience coordinating ServiceNow platform deployments
• Familiarity with data imports, schema mapping, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure)
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills

Pay: $112,450.15 - $135,423.84 per year
