Job description

  • Design, develop, and implement novel computer vision algorithms for unique use cases.
  • Design and build novel/custom Deep Learning architectures.
  • Evaluate accuracy and quality of the designed models as well as data sources.
  • Design and develop production ready code.
  • Coordinate with application development teams to integrate developed models with existing applications.
  • Manage the complete model development life-cycle from requirements gathering to post production support
  • Communicate results to colleagues, business partners, and senior management
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and oversee targeted research and team projects
  • Lead hiring efforts and candidate evaluation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics or related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant industry experience (as a Computer Vision Scientist, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Machine Learning Scientist, etc.), 3+ preferred; or proven qualifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python and industry experience with PyTorch or other Deep Learning tools
  • Industry experience with Deep Learning (semantic segmentation, object detection, classification), Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics or related field
