Experteer Overview In this role you will design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing web applications that enhance customer experiences. You’re a self-starter who thrives in change and can prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. You’ll stay current with AEM and Adobe Cloud innovations and drive improvements that support the business. This is an opportunity to shape digital experiences for large clients within a collaborative Capgemini environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and services using Java and Sling * Implement and manage workflows, JCR queries, and integrations with external systems (RESTful APIs, databases, etc.) * Customize and extend AEM functionalities to meet business requirements * Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions * Optimize performance and scalability of AEM applications * Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices * Support deployment activities, troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues in both production and development environments * Stay updated with AEM and Adobe Cloud innovations and recommend improvements Tasks * 5+ years of experience as an AEM Developer including AEM 6.5 * Expertise in AEM stack: AEM Modules, Granite, Sling, OSGi, JCR * Strong Java development experience (JDK 1.8+) * Experience developing AEM templates, components, and workflows; integrating with third-party systems and APIs * Experience integrating AEM with AWS services (DynamoDB, S3) * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices * Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode) * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field Key requirements * Paid time off (12-25 days) * Company holidays * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plans (401(k)) * Life and disability insurance * Employee assistance programs
