IC Datacenter Technician

• As a successful Integration Center Technician your performance objectives include a strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills.
• Perform cable installations, hardware rack and stack installations, using standard data center processes.
• Physically assist in moving and racking equipment.
• Ability work in a team and independently with instruction and supervision.

Additional Requirement

Use of appropriate PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs and facial covering in various environments with ranging temperatures as listed above.

Integration Center Technicians are responsible for installing, and cabling cabinets in the IC, with rapidly shifting priorities while maintaining high availability of the infrastructure. Strong attention to detail is a critical component of success in this position., * Ability to communicate effectively with the internal customers.

• Basic experience installing in-cabinet, uplink, and structured cabling solutions a plus
• Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights.
• Basic experience operating heavy-load movement equipment up to 50 lbs. (pallet jacks, chassis lifts, etc.)
• Basic experience operating macOS, Windows a plus
• Flexibility to work non-business hours (shifts) that may include weekends and/or holidays Basic organizational, data entry, written, and verbal communication skills a plus
