Job description

Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade insurance applications using Java full stack technologies, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud platforms.
Ensure scalability, security, and performance of applications.
Lead end-to-end full stack development using Java (Spring Boot) and UI frameworks like React or Angular.
Define and drive microservices-based architecture and API strategy.
Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
Design and implement cloud-native applications on AWS using EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS.
Build scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices architectures.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
Define solution architecture, integration patterns, and system workflows.
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Integrate with insurance platforms such as Guidewire.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Ensure code quality through testing, automation, and reviews.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in software development.
Expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11+), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
Proficiency in frontend technologies including React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Experience building distributed systems and scalable applications.
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
Domain experience in P&C or Life Insurance systems.
Strong combination of hands-on coding, architecture, and team leadership skills.
