Job description

Senior AWS Data Architect responsible for designing modern AWS/Databricks data platforms, leading large-scale legacy-to-cloud migrations, and enabling enterprise analytics, AL, governance, and data modernization initiatives., * Architect Enterprise Data Platforms - Design and implement scalable AWS and Databricks-based data architectures for analytics, Al, and business intelligence solutions.

  • Lead Data Modernization Programs - Drive migration initiatives from legacy platforms such as DB2, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, Mainframe, and Informatica to modern cloud platforms
  • Build Lakehouse & Data Warehouse Solutions - Architect enterprise data lakes, lakehouse platforms, and cloud data warehouses with high performance and scalability.
  • Establish Governance & Security Standards - Define data governance, metadata management, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks across the
  • platform
  • Design Advanced Data Processing Solutions - Create batch, streaming, and real-time data processing architectures using modern cloud-native technologies.
  • Provide Technical Leadership - Mentor engineering teams, enforce architecture governance, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define target-state roadmaps and solution strategies

Requirements

  • AWS Data Services - S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, DMS, Athena, Kiness, Lambda, Lake Formation, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
  • Databricks Expertise - Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (DLT), Databricks, Workflows, and Structured Streaming
  • Data Engineering & Architecture - Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse Architecture, Data Modeling (Kimball & Data Vault), ETL/ELT, Governance, and Metadata Management.
  • Programming & Development - Python, SQL, PySpark, and Scala (preferred).
  • Migration & Modernization - Experience with Hadoop-to-Databricks, DB2-to-Snowflake, Teradata/Oracle-to-AWS, and Mainframe-to-Cloud migrations
  • Leadership & Solution Architecture - Enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, stakeholder management, technical governance, and team mentoring.
