Job description
Intrepid Worldwide LLC is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the engineering and maintenance of secure web-based applications. In this position, you will build full-stack features using modern web technology, Python back-end systems, and integrated AI capabilities inside a compliance-focused Microsoft GCC High environment., * Develop and optimize responsive user interfaces using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create, test, and maintain back-end Python services, RESTful APIs, and database connections.
- Implement and refine internal productivity tools using AI APIs and automated coding assistants.
- Ensure application deployments meet strict security baselines, including NIST 800-171 and CMMC standards within GCC High.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, technical documentation, and quality assurance tests.
- Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate across cross-functional engineering, IT, and security teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or equivalent hands-on software development experience.
- 1 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Core proficiency with Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Practical knowledge of end-to-end web architecture, API integration, and relational databases.
- Exposure to AI frameworks, LLM integration, or developer tooling.
- U.S. Citizenship required to comply with federal GCC High access controls.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Greater Atlanta (Hybrid), or current residency in TX, FL, or NC (Remote).
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines, Git, and SQL databases.
- Exposure to Azure Government or commercial Azure environments.
- Background supporting federal government contracts or holding a Security+ certification.
