Job description

The IT Technician is responsible for providing support to Derby City Gaming for operating system requirements., * Sets up new hardware such as personal computers, printers, servers, phones, etc.

  • Installs and troubleshoots company approved software and web applications
  • Assists with programming copiers for scanning and emailing documents
  • Provides quality customer service to our users through problem resolution and process demonstration.
  • Educates users to reduce recurring issues by offering solutions to problems in a proactive way.
  • Provides onsite support for the gaming facility, including weekend and night-shift work.
  • Administers server-based systems across all departments.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent internal and external guest service.
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the IT department., * Two to three years of experience as an IT Technician
  • Degree in related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education is preferred
  • Valid Racing License
