Cyber Engineer

• Serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally, accountable for the PA IDT system cybersecurity posture, including subcontractor flow down and design solutions.

• Own subcontractor deliverables and be responsible for the review, feedback, and approval of subcontractor design solution compliance to their technical specifications (RMF & NIST controls) and alignment into the Prime design solution.

• Comprehend TEMPEST requirements and ensure proper flow down to subcontractors, acting as design/data owner.

• Ensure Authority to Connect (ATC) & Authority to Operate (ATO) data artifacts are provided by subcontractors, including ACAS Scans, SCAP/SCC/Eval STIG Scans, completed STIG checklists, hardware lists, interconnect diagrams, network config files, ports, protocols, services lists, SAST code scans, product baseline design (CDR) material, POA&Ms for allocated controls, patch plans, and letters of volatility.

This position is for a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to support the IFICS Data Terminal (IDT) product team on the Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program. The candidate should have experience taking on progressively challenging responsibilities, demonstrating initiative, and driving innovative solutions. They should be recognized as a self-starter with a proven ability to lead teams, learn quickly, and deliver results in dynamic environments., + Bachelor’s Degree in Science with 8 years of related experience; Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience or PhD with 4 years of related experience.

• Experience using DOORS and Atlassian Tools.

• Familiarity with Agile terminology and best practices.

• Security + Certification.

• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD secret level; a minimum of an interim secret clearance is required to start.
