Experienced Network Cabling Technician

A network cabling technician helps the team with the installation of CAT6, coax, and fiber optic cables. With an opportunity for advancement as the company grows rapidly. The ideal candidate should have experience as a cable technician, fiber technician, cable field technician, or telecommunication technician. Additional experience as a low voltage technician, network technician, and also desired BICSI certified technician. We expect candidates to have previous experience and have a knowledge of Experience in Cabling - NO EXCEPTIONS*

• Low voltage cabling pulling (Fiber / Coax / Cat X / Etc.)
• Pathway , including conduit installation and coring
• Experience with building and safety code requirements
• Termination experience of Cat6 and coax (fiber optic experience is a bonus)
• Testing and troubleshooting of cable

Required Abilities

• Works well with teams
• Good driving record
• Able to lift up to 75 lb., climb ladders, and work in elevated environments
• Able to work weekends and second shift when required
• Reliable transportation with a 7:00 AM start time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains a safe work environment
