Job description

  • Perform requirements-based verification of safety-critical embedded software in compliance with DO-178C DAL A/DAL B.
  • Develop, execute, and document unit-level software tests and verification procedures.
  • Integrate and verify low-level embedded software components.
  • Review software requirements for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and testability.
  • Analyze test results, investigate software defects, and document findings.
  • Maintain verification evidence, traceability, and documentation to support DO-178C certification.
  • Develop and maintain embedded C++ test code and verification tools.
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and quality engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Seeking an Embedded Software Verification Engineer to support the verification, integration, and testing of safety-critical embedded software developed in accordance with DO-178C DAL A and DAL B standards. The ideal candidate will have experience performing requirements-based verification, low-level software integration, unit testing, and embedded C++ development in an aerospace or safety-critical environment., * 5+ years of embedded software verification experience.

  • Hands-on experience with DO-178C DAL A or DAL B requirements-based verification.
  • Experience with low-level embedded software integration and verification.
  • Experience developing and executing unit tests for embedded software.
  • Proficiency with Embedded C++ development.
  • Ability to work onsite.
  • U.S. Citizenship may be required depending on program requirements., * Experience developing software requirements under DO-178C DAL A or DAL B.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience supporting aerospace, avionics, or other safety-critical embedded software programs.
