Job description

Seeking a Software Verification Engineer to test and verify C/C++ software used in display systems and ensure compliance with DO-178 standards. The position will focus on software testing, verification, documentation, and identifying issues within safety-critical software., * Test and verify C/C++ code used in display systems.

Ensure software meets applicable DO-178 requirements and verification standards.
Develop and execute software test procedures and test cases.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
Review software requirements, code, and verification documentation.
Utilize SVN for software configuration/version control.
Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams throughout verification activities.
Support traceability and documentation required for DO-178 compliance.

Requirements

DO-178 experience - REQUIRED
Strong experience testing and/or reviewing C/C++ code.
Software verification, validation, or testing experience.
Experience with SVN or similar configuration-management tools.
Ability to work within structured software development and verification processes.

Preferred Qualifications

OpenGL experience.
Experience with display systems, graphical interfaces, avionics displays, or similar systems.
Aerospace or safety-critical embedded software experience.
