Job description

Front-End Developers build the browser experience people use to understand information and complete work. Working in modern component frameworks such as React, they translate user and product needs into components, interactions, forms, navigation, and stateful workflows using TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

The role owns more than appearance. You structure state and data flow, integrate APIs, handle loading and failure states, protect browser-side boundaries, and test behavior across users, devices, and browsers. You use semantic HTML first and add Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) patterns when native elements do not provide the interaction a component needs.

Accessibility and performance are part of implementation, not finishing steps. Front-End Developers work with designers, researchers, content specialists, back-end engineers, security teams, and users to create interfaces that are understandable, keyboard-operable, resilient, responsive, and maintainable.

What you’ll build

  • Pages, component libraries, design-system implementations, and reusable component patterns in a modern framework such as React.
  • Forms, navigation, tables, dashboards, search, filtering, and complex stateful workflows.
  • API integrations with clear loading, empty, success, validation, and error states.
  • Accessible interactions tested with semantic markup, keyboard use, focus management, and assistive technologies.
  • Unit, component, integration, and browser tests plus performance and client-side security improvements.

Who you are

You care how an interface looks, but you judge quality by whether people can understand it and complete their work. You notice unclear state, fragile component boundaries, inconsistent behavior, inaccessible interactions, and unnecessary complexity.

You collaborate closely and test assumptions with evidence. You can explain browser constraints, preserve design intent, negotiate API needs with back-end teams, and improve a codebase without turning every change into a rewrite.

Requirements

  • Professional experience with a modern component framework (React, Angular, Vue, or equivalent), TypeScript or JavaScript, semantic HTML, modern CSS, and component-based design.
  • Sound judgment about state structure, data flow, reusable components, forms, routing, and API integration.
  • Working knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), keyboard interaction, focus management, and ARIA patterns.
  • Experience with automated tests, browser developer tools, version control, code review, and delivery pipelines.
  • Ability to diagnose rendering, network, performance, compatibility, and client-side security problems.
