Responsibilities:

  • Learn how D&IT enables Corning’s operations, employees, customers, and business objectives.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and business partners
  • Demonstrate ownership, adaptability, learning agility, and follow-through.
  • Participate in cohort meetings, mentoring, networking, and leadership development.

Requirements

  • Prior internship or co-op experience, preferably in Information Technology.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Foundational analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage assignments, follow through on commitments, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professionalism

Desired Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft 365 applications
  • Exposure to data analysis, reporting, automation, programming, business analysis, cybersecurity, IT service management, or project coordination
  • Ability to communicate and present information to various levels of stakeholders

Special Requirements

  • Ability to participate in four 6-month rotational assignments, which may vary by team, technology, business area, and location.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for program events, training, business needs, or rotational assignments, as required.
  • Valid passport and/or visa may be required depending on location and business needs.
