Job description
The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and related activities. This role involves program-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, and complex issue resolution., * Deliver programs within the constraints of scope, quality, time and budget
- Manage a group of internal and matrixed employees and contractors to deliver systems and systems enhancements that meet specified requirements
- Oversee project scope definition and management, requirements gathering, time estimating, and project schedule development and tracking
- Handle project budget management, project status reporting, issue and risk management, and contingency planning
- Facilitate agile squad ceremonies (stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, release gates) to maintain delivery cadence
- Track and unblock cross-squad and cross-functional dependencies
- Manage release gate-keeping, validating quality and readiness criteria prior to production deployments
- Translate business priorities into engineering-ready requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery timelines
- Own recurring cross-project status and risk reporting cadences for stakeholders and executive leadership
- Lead program knowledge transfer and documentation to ensure delivery continuity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
- Experience with project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, and implementation planning in large organizations
- Proven people management and team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications and business functions
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
- Experience with software development lifecycle

Pay range: up to $88.95 per hour
