Job description

  • Perform monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting tasks for multiple small business clients
  • Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with payroll
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis
  • Manage year-end 1099 tracking and Sales & Use Tax (for review)
  • Contribute to clean-ups, workflow improvements, and SOP documentation
  • Communicate with clients professionally via Slack and Google Meet
  • Report directly to the owner and work independently in focused time blocks

Requirements

Do you have experience in QuickBooks Online?, We are looking for a dependable, detail-driven bookkeeper who is ready to grow. You will start as a Junior Bookkeeper with a clearly defined path to Senior Bookkeeper - based on your performance, not a set timeline. If you are skilled, self-directed, and ready to take ownership of client accounts, we want to hear from you., * 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience (required)

  • Experience with multi-client bookkeeping in a small business environment
  • Solid understanding of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and basic payroll
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines independently
  • Ability to explain financial data clearly to non-accountant clients
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup
  • Availability M-F, 8am-5pm Central for consistent recurring work blocks
  • U.S. based and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Positive, humble, and growth-oriented attitude - no ego required, * QuickBooks Online: 3 years (Required)

United States Remote $25.30 - $30.47 an hour - Part-time, Day 1-30 Orientation, shadowing, learning our systems and clients |$20-$23/hour

30-Day Review Demonstrating accuracy, reliability, and independence Increase to $23-$25/hour
90-Day Review Owning client accounts with minimal oversight Review for Sr. designation + $25-$28/hour
