Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets Lightspeed

Job description

  • Work directly with hotel General Managers and property staff to schedule automated report delivery from their property management system – Opera, Mews, HotelKey, FOSSE, Cloudbeds, Agilysys, LightSpeed and others – following the setup guides we’ve built for each system.
  • Follow up relentlessly. Properties are busy and things fall through. A large part of this job is polite, persistent follow-up until every property is sending data.
  • Coordinate payroll, timekeeping, and accounting data feeds with the customer’s vendors and corporate teams, escalating to leadership when something technical needs to be decided.
  • Track rollout status property by property and keep the internal implementation tracker current so nothing goes quiet.

Configure and check the work

  • Set up property records, account mappings, departments, and user permissions using our internal configuration checklists.
  • Run pre-launch quality checks: confirm reports are arriving, data is populating, and the numbers tie to the source reports before a customer gets access.
  • Flag anything that looks wrong to leadership. You won’t be expected to diagnose every data problem on day one – you will be expected to notice one and raise it.

Train customers

  • Schedule and deliver live virtual training sessions for GMs, corporate operations, and accounting teams, starting from our existing training materials.
  • Take over training delivery as you learn the product, and eventually own how we train new customers.
  • Help build the training library: short walkthrough videos, quick-reference guides, and onboarding checklists.
  • Maintain our PMS setup guides – the step-by-step documents properties follow to schedule reports. When a new system comes up, you’ll help build the guide for it.

Support customers after launch

  • Serve as a first point of contact for customer questions during and after implementation, resolving what you can and routing what you can’t.
  • Watch adoption after go-live. Know who’s using the product, who isn’t, and tell us why.
  • Capture every feature request, gap, and “can it do X” you hear and get it in front of the product team.

Where This Role Goes

We’re hiring someone we intend to grow. As you build product depth and hotel knowledge, this role expands into owning implementations end to end, signing off on go-live yourself, and running product training sessions. Compensation is reviewed at six and twelve months and moves with that scope.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience. Recent graduates encouraged – hospitality management, business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills. You’re comfortable in Excel and can tell when a number looks wrong.
  • Excellent written communication. Most of this job is clear, professional email to busy people who don’t report to you.
  • Organized and follow-through oriented. You’ll be juggling several property rollouts at once, each in a different state of done.
  • Comfortable on video calls with senior people at customer companies – C-suite, controllers, VPs of operations, general managers.
  • Genuinely curious about how businesses run. You should want to understand why a hotel’s numbers look the way they do, not just move files around.

Nice to have

  • Any hotel experience at all – front desk, night audit, revenue management, property accounting. If you’ve run a night audit, you already know most of what these reports are.
  • Coursework or experience in accounting or financial statements.
  • Familiarity with property management systems or hospitality software.
  • Comfort with basic technical concepts: file transfers, scheduled reports, email routing. You don’t need to write code.

Benefits & conditions

$40,000 - $50,000 a year - Full-time

About the company

Lodgeic is an AI-native hospitality intelligence platform built for hotel management companies. We pull data out of the systems hotels already run – PMS, POS, payroll, accounting – and turn it into daily operating and financial intelligence for GMs, corporate ops, and accounting teams. We’re live across a growing portfolio of hotels, and we’re a small, fast team where everyone interacts with customers.

This is an entry-level role. You’ll be trained directly by our leadership team on how hotel data actually works, then own the day-to-day execution of getting new customers live. If you want to learn hotel operations, hotel finance, and enterprise software from the inside – and you’d rather have real responsibility than a narrow seat at a big company – this is that job.
