Web Support Specialist

We’re a fast-growing, trendy beauty brand looking for a sharp, versatile IT / Web Support Specialist to join our in-house team. You’ll be the go-to person for office IT needs, manage and customize our Shopify theme (Kiara Sky) and custom app, support data organization, and help drive SEO performance - all while keeping our fast-paced team running smoothly. What You’ll Do IT & Office Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support for in-office staff and systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues as they arise
• Maintain and improve internal systems and tools

Shopify Theme & App Management

• Manage, customize, and maintain the Kiara Sky Shopify theme and custom app
• Build and implement new site features using Liquid, Online Store 2.0, and Shopify CLI
• Diagnose and fix defects; improve site responsiveness across devices
• Ensure third-party scripts are implemented correctly and don’t degrade performance
• Improve site speed through smart caching and consolidated CSS/JS structures
• Design and implement visually appealing, user-friendly layouts with clear navigation

Data Entry & Management

• Maintain accurate, organized data across relevant systems and platforms
• Support data entry needs across teams as required

SEO & Digital Marketing Support

• Maintain and improve SEO performance and organic search visibility
• Follow SEO best practices and keep pace with search engine/algorithm changes
• Partner with the in-house marketing team on digital campaigns and traffic/conversion strategies

Core Technical Skills

• Shopify Theme Development / Online Store 2.0 / Liquid
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TailwindCSS, SCSS
• Responsive, mobile-first design
• Git / GitHub, Shopify CLI
• Figma (or similar design tools), strong UI/UX and e-commerce UX sensibility
• General IT troubleshooting (hardware, software, network basics)

Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills

• TypeScript, React, Preact
• Shopify App Development, Shopify Functions, GraphQL, Shopify Polaris
• Node.js / Express, SQL / ORM (Sequelize, MySQL)
• AWS S3, Handlebars, Bootstrap 5
• Image/video processing (Sharp, ffmpeg)
• Third-party API integrations (Airtable, Google Maps, Nodemailer)

• 2-3+ years of experience in web development, IT support, or a related field
• Comfortable implementing custom features and site customizations independently
• Strong understanding of CSS behavior and cross-browser/platform consistency
• Working knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and web analytics tools
• Marketing/advertising experience is a big plus
• Social-media savvy, with an eye for visually engaging content
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable managing varied responsibilities (technical + administrative) in a fast-paced environment
• Able to prioritize workload independently to meet deadlines

Required Experience

• Front-end development: 1 year
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript: 1 year each

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
