Job description
We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network, host, data, and application security across multiple operating systems and a proven ability to detect, investigate, and remediate security incidents while maintaining and improving security controls., * Perform basic vulnerability scans using vendor tools and document findings.
- Monitor security audit logs and intrusion detection systems for anomalies and indicators of compromise.
- Investigate and escalate security violations, unauthorized access attempts, malware activity, and other security events, and report outcomes.
- Assist with engineering analysis, design, and support for firewalls, networks, and operating systems.
- Support product evaluations and recommend security products and services; validate and test basic security architectures and designs.
- Develop, test, and operate firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus solutions, and software deployment tools.
- Review and recommend installation, modification, or replacement of hardware or software components and security-impacting configurations.
- Provide oversight and enforcement of security directives, standards, plans, and procedures at server sites.
- Manage escalations and triage time-sensitive incidents with technical teams, vendors, and corporate information security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; computer science or related field preferred.
- Three or more years in network, host, data, and/or application security across multiple operating systems.
- Proficiency with IP networking and protocols and understanding of security technologies.
- Experience with internet, web, application, and network security techniques.
- Experience with operating system security for Windows and Linux or similar environments.
- Experience with authentication technologies such as Okta and SailPoint.
- Security certifications such as CISSP or CCNA are preferred but not required.

- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform and interpret vulnerability assessments and administer security operations.
- Ability to balance and prioritize work in a business professional environment.
