Job description

  • Participates as a member of development team or teams.
  • Completes development of units with designs prepared by more senior developers. Completes development to implement complex components.
  • Contributes to design activities; may design solutions.
  • Develops independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews. Provide mentoring and guidance on Unix to Linux code refactoring to less experienced developers.
  • Designs, prepares and executes unit tests and documents results.
  • Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas
  • Applies company and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate complexity.
  • Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions or services prepared by more senior technologists for more complex solutions.
  • Understanding of modern Software Configuration Management, modern software design and development methodologies, including ADO, GitHub, AI and Agent Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in applications development, code refactoring, SQL scripting, Azure DevOps, Coverity, and GitHub.
  • Experience working with internet, web, application and network security techniques
  • Experience working with multiple development platforms (Windows, Unix, Linux, AWS, etc.)
  • Nice to have but not required to possess security certifications (CISSP, CCNA, etc.), * Communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve code refactoring issues in Unix and Linux.
  • Ability to perform and interpret vulnerability assessments form Coverity reports.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize work
